Archery Peak is a 5 year old gelding by Arch out of the Fusaichi Pegasus mare Come Touch the Sun.

He comes from a strong female family with his second dam being the dam of multiple Group 1 winners and black type performers.

He is a last start winner over 8.3 furlongs at Windsor in October 2016.

Form Note:

Lightly raced but upon his racecourse reappearance he blitzed the field winning by a margin of 3 lengths.

He has strong 2 year old form. In his first start he placed behind two future Group 3 winners and in his second start he was 3.5 lengths behind three horses who subsequently have gone on to be consistent Group 1 performers and beat home a Group 2 winner in Mubtaahij.

Above Authority is a 3 year old filly by Authorized trained at Ballarat by Darren Weir. She is currently racing and ran third at Warrnambool first up behind subsequent Flemington winner Loch Oir.

Above Authority is an exceptional style of a racehorse by high class racehorse in Authorized, the winner of the Group 1 Derby at Epsom along with the Group 1 Juddmonte International.

This is a quality filly by the sire of Signoff with which Darren ran fourth in the 2014 Melbourne Cup. Authorized is already the sire of 26 stakeswinners with Hartnell, Complacent and Ambivalent as well as Signoff among his Australian Group performers.

This colt is a great addition to the Hearts Racing team being a half brother to Flemington winner Hot Mama by the sire of Black Caviar, Bel Esprit.

He is being trained by Mick Price, trainer of Tarzino winner of the 2015 Group 1 Victoria Derby.

Mick paid $75,000 for the colt at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

His sire Bel Esprit has produced the winners of over $48 million in prizemoney. A dual Group 1 winner himself with over $2 million in prizemoney, Bel Esprit is best known as the sire of Champion mare Black Caviar, unbeaten in 25 race starts.

Bel Esprit has produced 20 stakeswinners and 23 stakes placed horses with 522 of 769 of his runners being winners.

Patriot Day is a 3 year old colt by Denman trained at Warrnambool by Matt Williams. Patriot Day is a half brother to stakes placed Inauguration. He recently ran third in a trial at Geelong and is now having a break before returning to work later in the Spring.

Patriot Day is by Denman who was a top 3yo winning 9 races including the Group 1 Golden Rose and $1.2 million.

Denman was bred to be a good horse being by Champion stallion Lonhro.

Patriot Day is from the second crop of Denman who has already sired the stakes winner Kuro.
